Question 3

3. What do you think is the theme of the play, Anne Frank?

From what I know, I think that the theme of the play of Anne Frank is that no matter what conditions you are in, you must always keep your values and love your family unconditionally. A connection I can make from this is that this theme for now is very similar to the theme in Red Scarf Girl by Ji Li Jiang.

Yes you must keep your core values and secure them no matter what. "Bolts can never secure your mind" Well, another thing I spotted was how this relates to our chapter of 2008 chapel "Identity.” God had given these people a special identity for them to cherish. Anne Frank embraced her beliefs and persevered always nurturing herself to be stronger. She never was degraded because she encouraged herself and even entertained herself always believing that they will soon be liberated. The Jews mostly hid and used unarmed resistance to fight off. They did not give up and stood up for their beliefs and held their identity. Later on during the war, Germany would soon surrender with the proclamation of joy among the Jews. This is why I had thought the theme of Anne Frank would be sort of like this. Always be strong and secure your values even under harsh circumstances then you will rejoice in glory soon enough. Have perseverance and an indomitable spirit always!!

yes, i believe that too, and i believe about love taht is getting closer between Anne and Peter. I feel great about reading this play and it is sort of funny. There are a lot of parts where Family comes otu together and becomes familiar together. I didn't read the RED SCARF GIRL, but it would be really interesting and good to read it.
